Hovhannes Shiraz Museum

The museum was founded in 1983 in Gyumri. The museum is located in a single-floor beautiful building of 19th century. Personal things, manuscripts and type-scripts of the popular Armenian poet (1914-1984), who was born in Gyumri are being kept in the museum and presented to the visitors. Art works gifted to the national poet and to the museum by the authors well-known national artists such as M. Saryan, S. Parajanov, A. Shiraz, S. Shiraz and others, are being considered as valuable part of the musemum's asset
