Alphabet Park
A Tribute to Armenian Language and Culture
Nestled amid Armenia’s scenic landscapes, Alphabet Park is a unique destination celebrating the Armenian alphabet, one of the oldest in the world. This park features human-sized stone sculptures of all 39 letters, intricately carved from tuff, a volcanic rock native to the region.
This park symbolizes the richness and importance of the Armenian script, created by the great enlightener Mesrop Mashtots in 405 AD.
Each letter is positioned thoughtfully among volcanic stones, creating a harmonious blend of nature and cultural heritage. Visitors can wander through the park, discover the beauty of each letter, and take memorable photos with the Armenian letter that holds personal significance.
Whether you’re a language enthusiast, history lover, or simply seeking a unique experience, Alphabet Park offers an enriching glimpse into Armenia’s rich linguistic and cultural legacy.
