Arrival in Yerevan

Yerevan city tour
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour in Yerevan will start with the panoramic view of the city and acquaintance with the Center of the city, Republic Square, Northern Avenue, the sightseeing of Opera and Ballet building, the Parliament and Residency of the President of Armenia, State University, Mother Armenia Monument, Sports & Concert Complex. A visit to Tsitsernakaberd – a Monument to the Armenian Genocide Victims, as well as the Genocide Victims’ Museum, commemorating the 1.5 million Armenians who perished during the first Genocide of the 20th century in the Western Armenia and in the territory of Ottoman Empire.
Visit Cascade complex, which is considered the modern art center of Yerevan. Cascade is home to Cafesjan modern art museum. This place becomes even more charming in the evenings, when it is full of people, both locals and tourists from all over the world, enjoying the magic and the warmth of the capital. You will enjoy spending time in one of the cosy open-air cafes surrounded by beautiful sculptures, redolent flowers shining brightly with magic colours. It is also a popular place for open air concerts in summer season. A visit to one of the biggest and oldest mosques in Caucasus “Blue mosque”, which is situated in the heart of Yerevan city.
Optional: Very interesting one hour tour around Armenian brandy factory offers tourists familiarization with the history of the plant, process of brandy preparation, showrooms and halls of storages. Visitors will also have degustation of 2 types of brandy in degustation hall. Brandy shop at the factory territory will be available for purchasing of these famous Armenian brandy directly from the factory.

Yerevan - Temple Garni - Geghard Caved in rock Monastery (UNESCO) - Yerevan
After breakfast, head to Garni Temple, the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia, devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat (Arshakid Dynasty). On the way enjoy a photo stop at the Charentc Arc with a nice view on Ararat Mountain.
Visit to the ruins of Royal Palace and Royal bath-house next to Garni temple.
Optional: take 4×4 wheels tracks to visit the impressive Garni Canyon – magnificent and outstanding scene, which creates the image of falling crags. It obtained the name “Symphony of Stones” due to its view. The fantastic landscape of Garni canyon shakes the human imagination.
Optional: Small performance of Armenian national musical instrument ,,Duduk’’ (Tsiranapogh- means Tsiran- abricot, pogh- trumpet). After the local musician will describe the origin, nature, symbolism of Duduk and fully experience its rich and versatile music. One of the most famous performances of the duduk was featured in the movie “Gladiator”, where its soulful tones perfectly captured the film’s emotional depth and timeless appeal. Duduk and its music were inscribed in 2008 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (originally proclaimed in 2005).
Experience a traditional flat bread – lavash baking demonstration and enjoy a family-hosted lunch. Lavash, the preparation, meaning and appearance of traditional bread as an expression of culture in Armenia was inscribed in 2014 on the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
Journey to the extraordinary Geghard Monastery, a stunning XIIXIII century temple partially carved into the rock. Named “St Geghard” or “Holy Spear,” it honors the sacred relic believed to have pierced the body of Christ during the crucifixion, that was preserved here and now housed in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, this architectural gem showcases Armenia’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
Optional: Enhance your visit with a mesmerizing concert of liturgical songs. Experience the monastery’s remarkable acoustics, where the crystal-clear harmonies resonate beautifully within the ancient stone walls.

Yerevan - Ararat valley - Khor Virap - Areni wine tasting - red cliffs canyon - Noravank - Jermuk
After breakfast at the hotel, your group sets off toward the Ararat Valley for a day that blends history, nature, and wellness.
Along the way, marvel at the stunning views of Mount Ararat, the biblical mountain shining with its two majestic snow-capped peaks—an unforgettable sight and a powerful symbol of Armenia.
The first visit is Khor Virap Monastery, one of the most sacred sites in Armenian Christianity.
After visiting Khor Virap continue driving to Gnishik canyon, the narrow road of which goes through the beautiful steep rocks which change the color from gray to red.
Enjoy a stop in Areni, the heart of Armenia’s winemaking tradition. Take part in a wine tasting session and sample some of the region’s celebrated varietals, known for their rich flavor and ancient roots.
From here, the road winds through the beutiful Gnishik Canyon, where cliffs rise in layers of gray and red stone. You’ll drive through this natural corridor toward the cliffside masterpiece of Noravank Monastery (13th–14th century). The scenery here is so captivating that many choose to walk the final stretch to the monastery, taking in the vivid colors and rugged rock formations with cameras in hand.
The day concludes in Jermuk, a famed spa town known for its healing mineral waters. Visit the Mineral Spring Gallery to taste fresh water straight from the springs, then unwind with a natural mineral bath using genuine Jermuk water. Optional trekking to Jermuk Waterfall offers fresh mountain air and scenic views.

Jermuk – Silk Road - Selim Caravansaray - Lake Sevan - “Armenian Switzerland” Dilijan
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Lake Sevan, one of the wonders in Armenia, via Selim Pass. This blue lake is one of the greatest high mountainous freshwater lakes of Eurasia. On a clear and sunny day, the water is often of a deep turquoise color. Total surface of the lake is 940 km2. Climb on peninsula, from where opens a fascinating and breathtaking view on Sevan Lake.
On a way visit the historic Selim Caravanserai (XIV c), once served as a resting point for Silk Road travelers.
Visit Sevanavank Monastery (9th century), which stands in its greatness on the peninsula, overlooking the lake for centuries.
Drive to mountainous resort Dilijan, or so called “Armenian Switzerland”, which is well-known for its forests, as well as for its mysterious flora and fauna.
Small walking city tour in Dilijan with a visit to handicrafts’ street, where one can watch the preparation of different national souvenirs from wood, stone and ceramics.
A visit to Haghartsin Monastery complex, located in a secluded place of a forest. Appearing unexpectedly in front of the visitors, out of the dense forests, the Monastery creates a magical impression of a lost world. After a visit to the monastery in 2005, His Royal Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi made a generous donation for certain renovation works and preservation of this monastery, representing the rich history of the human kind. continue to Yerevan.

If time allows, we can also visit the Zvartnots Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning 7th-century ruins and panoramic views of Mount Ararat.
A comfortable transfer to Zvartnots International Airport will be arranged for your departure.
